As part of its academic calendar, two Teams from the National College of Defence Studies (NCDS) conducted concurrent Experiential Research Studies (ERS) in the Eastern and North East Regions of Ghana from 25 February to 2 March 2024. The purpose of the Study was to enable Participants undertake research that would help develop sustainable solutions that address environmental, security and developmental concerns in Ghana. The Teams received presentations/briefings from the Regional Coordinating Councils, Municipal/District Assemblies and relevant stakeholders in the respective Regions. The Teams also paid courtesy calls to traditional leaders and interacted with local communities, organisations and experts. Participants will present their findings to their SDS, representatives from the Regions visited and other stakeholders on 15 Mar 24.
