NCDS COMMENCES COURSE 2 - 25

NCDS MATRICULATES COURSE 2-2025

The National College of Defence Studies (NCDS) formally admitted 26 participants of Course 2-25 during a matriculation ceremony held at Burma Hall, Burma Camp, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. The participants comprise Colonels or their equivalents from the Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda and Zambia Armed Forces, as well as senior public servants from the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, Ghana Revenue Authority and National Security Secretariat. Chief of Staff at the Presidency, Hon Julius Debrah was the Guest of Honor. In his remarks, he underscored NCDS’s pivotal role as a hub for cultivating strategic leaders. The Commandant Major General Irvine Aryeetey urged participants to prioritize professionalism, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing in their training. Colonel Ernest Nyuur, Course President, signed the matriculation register on behalf of the cohort. The ceremony was graced by the Ministers of Defence and Interior, the Chief of Defence Staff, the Military High Command, a representative of the Rector of GIMPA and some retired senior officers.
