NCDS hosted a seminar on “Democracy and National Development” on March 13, 2025, at its Burma Camp Auditorium. Chaired by Prof. Kwasi Prempeh (CDD-Ghana), the panel featured Former Majority Leader and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Honourable Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu on legislative reforms, the General Secretary of the Ghana Journalists Association, Kofi Yeboah on media accountability, and Governance and Democracy expert, Dr. John Osae-Kwapong on data-driven policy strategies. Discussions emphasised anti-corruption measures, civic engagement, and aligning governance with Ghana’s development goals, reflecting NCDS’s mission to cultivate leaders equipped for ethical and transformative governance. The seminar provided a valuable opportunity for the participants to delve into the crucial relationship between democracy and national development.
