In continuation of academic research programmes, two Teams from the National College of Defence Studies (NCDS) concurrently embarked on an Experiential Research Study Tour (ERST) in Nigeria and Ethiopia from 19 to 25 May 2024. The purpose of the Study was to enable Participants undertake research and draw lessons from countries visited to aid the formulation of appropriate policies to address identified environmental, security and developmental concerns in Ghana. The Teams received presentations/briefings from stakeholders in Nigeria and Ethiopia. The Teams also had a conducted tour of some military industrial facilities and tourist sites to gain insights into innovative technologies and historical perspectives to assist in the research. Participants will present their findings to their SDS and other stakeholders on 28 June 2024.
