On October 17, 2024, participants from Course 1 - 2023 of the National College of Defence Studies visited Jubilee House, the seat of government in Ghana, as part of their curriculum. The purpose of the visit was to provide the participants with a better understanding of the intricacies involved in formulating national policy. A panel of experts, including Mrs. Esther Pokoo-Aikins, Mr. Christian W. Ayiku, Mr. Eric Osei-Owusu, and Mad Juliana Ama Kplorfia, emphasized the importance of the Cabinet's role in policymaking, as outlined in Articles 76(1) and 76(2) of the Constitution. Discussions also covered the general process of policy formulation in Ghana. The College thanked the panellists for their expertise and the contributions they made to the participants' understanding of national policy formulation.
